Open Studios was formed in 2002, to address the immediate crisis surrounding the disappearance of our precious Public Domain. Through educational programs, and assistance to communities, community-based recording studios that provide free recording services to residents will help to replenish our lost creativity and innovation, so very important to a vibrant and healthy Democracy in a Civil Society
