North Penn Legal Services is a non-profit agency serving the 20 counties of northeast Pennsylvania. The staff at NPLS consists of secretaries, paralegals and attorneys who have devoted their careers to alleviating the effects of poverty on the low-income population by providing free legal assistance in civil cases. NPLS does not charge for services, nor does it collect attorney?s fees in any matter. Part of the agency's mission is to ensure that people living in poverty are not denied access to justice due to their economic status.
