Legal Assistance for Seniors assists individuals over the age of 60-especially those 75+, disabled and/or frail-to preserve their independence and dignity by protecting their legal rights. We specialize in the issues that affect life's most basic needs: housing, income, health care, freedom from abuse and financial exploitation, and planning for incapacity. We have a skilled, experienced and recognized staff plus 40 volunteer counselors, attorneys, and advocates. We reach over 10,000 people per year with legal assistance,counseling and advocacy on Medicare and related health insurance topics, and in-person educational presentations at seniors' organizations.
