Solid Foundation Broadcasting Corporation
6 Surrey Court Marlton, NJ 08053
website: http://www.sfbcast.org

Across the United States, there are poor, rural communities that not only suffer economically, but also suffer from the increased depression, suicide, drug abuse, divorce, and general breakdown of the family that poverty can create. Churches, pregnancy centers, shelters and other Christian groups in these communities often do not have the means to effectively reach out to their community at large - not just because of economics, but because communicating to a group of people spread over a large, sparse region is an immense challenge. To make matters worse, those who are most in need of Christ, support, and comfort are bound by the same geographic and economic limitations when they need help. While local newspapers provide some opportunities to connect with those in need, their distribution is frequently limited, and require the reader to pay for the paper. In communities fortunate enough to have a local radio or television station, air time is often available, but it is often far too costly for smaller ministries, and the resources for producing programming are not within reach. The costs, skills, and lack of outlets creates a gap between the local Christian community and one of the most powerful means of outreach available ? Radio.Solid Foundation Broadcasting was formed to respond to these needs, and through a desire to share Christ. We are addressing this ?access gap?, with a mission to establish community-based Christian radio stations in rural, challenged areas in the United States. Through these stations, we provide low cost airtime to local Churches and Christian organizations. We also provide low cost copy-writing, editing, mentoring, and other media-related services for ministries with a desire to use media as an outreach. If you would like assistance with your ministry outreach, please feel free to contact us.
