Parolees who receive adequate preparation and have people who care about them can make it on the outside. Little is done for the inmate while incarcerated to prepare them for success. They must be prepared before release and assisted when they get out. Their families must also be helped. Chains to Freedom provides mentoring for parolees and ministry to their families.
