Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is a federally-funded program for children deprived of support because of a parent’s death, incapacity, absence or unemployment.   Cash assistance is available to the family on a time-limited basis through TANF. The purpose of this federal program is to provide temporary support in meeting basic needs, training leading to employment, employment services and childcare assistance for qualified families with children.  In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Oklahoma, responsible for a child under 19 years of age, a U.S. national, citizen, legal alien, or permanent resident, have low or very low income, and be either under-employed (working for very low wages), unemployed, or about to become unemployed. Hours: M-F 8 to 5

    I recently got kicked out. I’m 19 years old and not hired I got let go from express employment for no reason but my mom was in a abusive relationship and we got threatened out of the house with no family and no money.
