Founded in 1990, the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) is a privately funded not-for-profit law office that provides a wide range of legal services in civil law matters to low-income New Yorkers who would otherwise be unable to afford or receive legal help. Direct legal services offered include representation, consultation and impact litigation. As a full service agency, NYLAG can offer comprehensive legal services for clients with multiple legal issues.
