The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania's purpose is to protect the legal rights of persons with disabilities and those diagnosed as mentally ill. Our mission is "The mission of the Disability Rights Network is to advance, protect, and advocate for the human, civil, and legal rights of Pennsylvanians with disabilities.." We have more than thirty-four years of experience as an independent nonprofit providing free services to persons with disabilities, their families and advocates, government agencies, attorneys, service providers, employers and interested others. We provide training on numerous topics and outreach to unserved and underserved populations throughout Pennsylvania. We provide services in a broad spectrum of issue areas such as abuse, neglect, rights violations, discrimination, education, housing, employment, transportation, forensics, health care and assistive technology. We deliver services in a culturally competent manner that maximizes leadership, independence, productivity and integration of individuals with disabilities.

“Disability Rights Pennsylvania protects and advocates for rights of people with disabilities so that they may live the lives they choose, free from abuse, neglect, discrimination, and segregation.”
