It hopes to help children from the worst of circumstances make the best of their lives. It has no staff outside the Philippines and no fund-raising expenses other than the cost of printing and mailing a quarterly newsletter and yearly financial report. It receives no fees for any of its services nor any government assistance. Family to Family is made possible mainly by cash contributions from roughly two hundred private individuals and a few foundations and by an enormous amount of completely free medical care provided by many generous Filipino doctors.
