Each summer, more than 1,000 seriously ill children enjoy a unique camping experience that promotes joy, builds courage and instills hope at no charge to campers or their families. Through the rest of the year, we host special weekend programs for campers, their families and caregivers. Through our innovative Hospital Outreach Program, we bring the joy and spirit of Camp to seriously ill children at hospitals from New York to Boston. In all, we serve more than 15,000 children each year. All services are provided free of charge. We rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations for support each year. | ||

CAAS has published a book Starting a Small Business in Connecticut which is an easy to read guide for stating a small business. CAAS provides adult education courses on starting a small business, and provided accounting and financial management training not-for-profit organization. CAAS volunteers provide one-on-one counseling and assistance with accounting and management system set up and operation. CAAS also provides free tax preparation assistance to to the income disadvantaged. | ||
