With the rising costs of healthcare, many families find it impossible to see a physician. The Community Free Clinic, the first and only free clinic in Alabama, was established to provide excellent free medical care to those who have other option. Open for acute physical problems on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we also operate a Chronic Care Clinic on Wednesdays, providing education, monitoring and treatment for hypertension, diabetes and chronic lung diseases such as Asthma.

CSPs chief tools in the execution of its mission include: 1. providing direct financial assistance to those in need; 2. administering pre-school education, child care management, job development, affordable housing, energy assistance, early intervention service, drug prevention services, social services and economic development programs to enhance the opportunities and quality of life for low-income people; 3. coordinating services and activities among area organizations to address the various needs of low-income people in a comprehensive and holistic manner.
